Ok kids, who wants to join a troll for some nice quarry dives at Haigh Quarry on the 16th and/or the 17th?

Looking to get some dives in. I don't care what level you're at, as long as you are safety minded and can navigate from the boat to the Larc without doing an adrupt turn to the south wall. :rofl3::rofl3:

Wow, wish I could be there. I wouldn't have to get leg cramps trying to keep up! AND on the serious side, I wanted to tag along side last week just to learn some decent bouyancy control. (It's either learn that, or invent a dive-profile editor that takes the saw-tooths out of my profiles after they're downloaded so at least I look good on paper!:D)

But - can't be there. Working on CPR for Rescue and have to work the next day. Hope you get some good (non-directionally challenged :D) dive buddies.

Just zoom out on the dive profile viewer and they will smooth out. :)

Slower is better...less air consumption.

I will be at Haigh this weekend Jason but I am doing my AOW and Drysuit classes. So no leisurely stroll around the port o potty with you this weekend but next week end for sure!

Hey now, it was a slight turn to the right, and then an abrupt turn. I'll get it right next time.

We'll work on your navigation...or maybe not...it's good for a few laughs. :)

Aww, shucks, you really know how to make a girl feel great about herself. :rofl4:

It I get my AOW this weekend, it stands to reason that I have some ability to navigate something or somewhere. At least I hope so. I'll even try to lead us to the dump truck since did not make it there this last time.

HA....no worries. You have to start somewhere. I certainly was not one with my compass when I first started.

Actually last month I got lost guiding a dive...then again, i didnt have a compass with me. :) That goodness the quarry is small.

I ended up along side a wall....which I was expecting. The wall looked different from memory, but it was on my left side as expected. Kept going, and going..this isn't right. Asked for my buddies compass....we are going South....the only way to go South in that quarry with a wall on your left side...is the East wall...dohhh! Thought it was the wall right off the road. My bad. :)

Bringing my compass from now on. :)
