I am being transferred with my company to work in Gulf Shores within the next 30 days. I am from Mississippi and want to learn to scuba dive. Any suggestions as to who and where to get training?

He can tell you about all the shops there as he's a very active
diver and from there.
Other than that, check out Down Under Dive Shop and Gary's Gulf Diver.
They are two shops in that area.
Btw, ask one of the MOD's to move this thread to the DEEP DIXIE DIVERS forum.

If you're gonna be living in Gulf Shores, go with Down Under Dive Shop. Its located right on highway 59 across from Zooland, maybe 1-2 miles North of the beach. Once you get certified, shoot me a line, I'll show you some of the easier shore dives in the area
