Anyone have GPS numbers for artificial reefs (either wrecks, culverts, reefball structures, or old bridges) off Pinellas county that are inside the 20 mile range and have some decent growth on them? I'm embarking on an ecological project and would like some fun sites to survey. PM me if you don't want to broadcast the numbers.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks - I've seen that listing before and I've been to some of the sites myself, but I was hoping to hear from others out there who've recently visited any inshore sites. I'd like to survey some areas with decent growth, but also keep it random and as unbiased as possible. Also, my dive buddy doesn't want to go that far out with his boat (understandably so).

If anyone has a site they'd care to share, I'd appreciate it.

you can get many, many more additional coordinates in the back of my book.
No concrete culverts, etc., but tons of wrecks, both natural and artificial.

Mike - sounds like your book is a must have! Is it available locally in a St. Petersburg bookstore or dive shop or just through mail order/paypal? Thanks!

Some local shops have it, like Aquatic Obsessions and Scuba Quest. Some others may have it like Bill Jackson's, but have not re-ordered in a while. You can get it direct as well (see my signature).

Cheers,
Mike
