Hello
this is my first post to this board. I have browsed this site for some time now but finally decided to make an account. I am putting together my first underwater rig and having a hard time deciding on lights. I will be using my canon 7d mark ii. I want to do a mix of wide and and macro.

Im debating between the Sola 1200 video lights that can do both flood and spot as well as the Sola 2000 FLOOD ONLY lights. It looks like I might be able to get a pair of either ones for roughly the same price (I am on a budget). I'm deterred by the 1200s because they have less power than the 2000, however, am I going to miss the spot feature or will I always tend to use them in flood mode?

Any guidance would be appreciated. Feel free to suggest a third option as well.
