Well I can only give you my first impressions because we were together for only a few hours and half the time was spent underwater.
Jag struck me as a very genuine person- warm, honest, spontaneous and perceptive. I really appreciated the way he treated me like an old friend even though it was the first time we actually met. He seemed to greatly value the friends he has made in scubaboard and is especially fond of the PPD gang especially you Caloy. He thinks youre cool. Plus he had no macho diving airs whatsoever. You know how some divers act like diving is a competitive sport- walang ere si Jag. He seemed happy just to be in the water - which I guess is how it should be. He loves diving and is serious about improving his skill - I just felt sorry that he couldn't dive as much as he wants to. No complaints either even if ginutom ko sya. We finished the dive at around 2pm and never got to meet up after that. I think he had a hectic schedule and I was feeling under the weather that weekend. Anyway, I wish we could continue our kuwentuhan some time in the near future along with the rest of the PPD gang.
Jag- I hope you don't mind that I posted my impressions of you. All good naman. Just remember that I'd rather be behind the camera and behind the scenes my friend. Also, I was reading this post by diver dennis "are underwater photographers a PITA" in basic scuba discussions and am starting to feel guilty. Sometimes I forget that my camera is not my buddy and I hope I didn't neglect you while we were down there.
Caloy- did you see new gear at Ellen's? Ok ba? I'm so excited and can't wait to paly with them- as if naman I knew how to use it. What did you get? (off topic but well- I'm the OP naman).
