Above is one of the most beautiful UW things I have never seen in the park. Guess what and where?

Discosoma
I've seen them on Villa Wall, but you wouldn't be teasing that location...

Daer Sal.

Pretty unfair for you to jump in!

Right speies, never found in the park, with one patch at the north end of the Villa Aldora Wall that I discovered some years back. The main patch is found way up at Gato's reef at the end of our "Polar Express" sites. AS you know, you see all kinds of things up there that you never see in the park…Try a pickle sized Jawfish?

You know me, I love to jump in! Especially wearing my gear.

Always nice to see usual critters.

Is this a native species? I didn't see this color in Reef Creatures. Pretty spectacular.

Yes, it's a Caribbean resident, Don. They come in a wide variety of colors.
They're so pretty!

Actually I have read that it is native to the Indian Ocean and quite popular with SW aquarium owners…maybe invaded with the Lion Fish? Pretty soon you may not have to travel all the way to the South Pacific!
