Ken - Great T2 class report, sounds like a typical Bob Sherwood class and experience. Congratulations to you and your teammates on your accomplishment!

I just returned from a weekend at Dutch Springs with Bob Sherwood for his doubles class. He told us about the great dives and the Tech 2 class in the Caymans. He even showed us some funny pics including the "buy one jerk, get one for free" offer y'all ran across.:rofl3:

Agree wholeheartedly about Bob's well-earned reputation as an instructor and he is as dedicated and hard working as they come, setting the bar pretty high for us mere mortals.

If you're ever in the east coast visiting your parents, definitely come out and dive. I can't do 2.5 hours 200 ft dives yet so you'll have to go easy on this newbie. :)

Thanks for posting.

Thanks, Sam. Congrats on the doubles class. I'm sure you guys had a good time at Dutch and learned a lot. What was the water temperature there? I must imagine that it must be a little chilly. Cool that you got to see the pics from our class. Bob played the role of instructor, videographer, photographer, chef, and even did my laundry in Cayman. Talk about full service. It was nice of him to take a ton of photos for us and give them to us as memories of our trip.

I was born and raised in Philadelphia, and my parents still live in Cherry Hill, NJ. I also worked in Manhattan for a long time so still have a ton of friends there. Definitely would be cool to come out and dive sometime with you guys. I'm still a noob myself just trying to get a little better. It's all good. Glad you're having fun with it all, and that DNY crew you have over there is pretty cool. We just managed to steal Quintin from you guys. :cool2:

:shocked2: What? Bob did NOT cook nor did he do my laundry this weekend!!! I'm gonna have to talk to him!!

I'm lucky to have DNY in my neck of the woods. Cherry Hill is a nice area of NJ. As for stealing our Quintin, I'll forgive ya if you dive with me when I visit Quintin. :D

Bob's actually a really good cook. I think that he took pity on us since we were just eating Kraft mac 'n cheese and frozen breakfast burritos everyday... With his health and nutrition standards, Bob wouldn't touch the mac 'n cheese nor the frozen burritos.

No worries about finding a dive buddy if you come out here to the west coast to visit. I'd absolutely dive with you.

:hugs: Thanks, Ken, and take care of our Quintin!

Hijack over, back to congratulating Ken and his teammate on a great T2 class with Bob Sherwood.

Congrats, Ken! Thanks for posting the dive report....glad to have you back in socal :D

You'll still be doing recreational dives with us, right?

We're doing what we can to take good care of Quintin! Took him out on seven boat dives this weekend :D

If you ever make it to socal again, please do let us know....would love to meet you (more than last time, I mean!) and dive with you!

Hi, Nicole, Now that explains why Quintin did not return text or calls this weekend, he was having a grand old time with y'all. :)

Yeah, Quintin and the ladies were living it up on the Reef Check 2-day liveaboard on the Peace dive boat. I so wanted to be on that boat, but I figured that after being away for 10 days in Cayman, I probably shouldn't push things too far with the wife and hop on a 2-day liveaboard the next day...
