Booked this year to go on the Nautilus. Looking for any to do's or not's. We are scheduled for the end of Sept and any info appreciated.

I went with a private scientific research group back in 2005 rather than a commercial op so I'm not sure any of my experience would transfer. Just be sure not to drop your regulator when your jaw opens in response tro the wonder of seeing these beauties!

I'll be making my 6th trip down to Guadalupe at the beginning of September. You'll love the trip. Don't overthink the trip. Beyond the necessities (wetsuit , booties, mask, and camera), the next most important items are seat sickness meds and a warm hoodie or sweatshirt. The crossing can be rough, but if you are prepared it is no big deal. I start taking Bonine a day before we leave and take it everyday (just in case). While it is not cold at Guadalupe, the cumulative effect of hours in the water day over day adds up. Other than that, keep it simple and pack light. I think I being less than half the clothes and gear now compared to my first couple trips.

Let me know if you have any specific questions.
