Very cool.

Amazing shots. Are they always in schools like this? Or is this seasonal?

They are more seasonal in general. But saying that there are always alot more GNS around Fish Rock at anytime of the year compared to other places. They say that they can get over 100+ schooling.

At home (Byron Bay) they are around once the water temp drops below say 22c. But the most I have seen would be 15 in one spot.

Cheers Mark

Wow !
I'm jealous...
Here are the photos I had love to do myself at Forster and Seals Rock last month.
Unfortunately, the sharks were in the place but the viz was quite bad.

It was much better in the south at Montague Island
But no shark there...only seals.

I missed out on perfect conditions about a month or two ago. 30m+ Vis, 100+ GNS and schooling Hammer Heads.

Maybe next time.

cheers Mark

Great shots! They are truly amazing creatures. We get them like
that in North Carolina and I have to admit that I have "pet" a few.
They seem to be very tolerant of divers. It's a sight to behold when
there are more there than you can even count. Nice birthday present.
Thanks for sharing.

damm im bubblin away at those magnificent shots of the sharks there :cool3:
