Hi,

What island are you on?

If you go to Maui go out on Hawaiian Rafting Adventures. Fun ride, it's a rigid hull inflatable.

Go out on a Lanai trip with them and ask them to take you over to the lighthouse and do the shark cave.

5-6 black tip reefers, great dive.

There's a swim through that goes by the back of the cave - there's a small hole there where you can usually see a shark tail backed up to it.

Against my better judgement got to scratch one's tail, he didn't even seem to care.

There are approx 300 Grey nurse sharks left off the New South Wales/Sydney Coast line in Australia including the six that hang around the above dive site off Sydney.

After a massive tagging and counting program, if current fishing practices continue they estimate they will be extinct in 40 years.

If that message was to me, then I am on Oahu. I have not been diving on any of the other Islands yet, but I plan to. I would LOVE to go to the big island and do the night dive that is video taped with the rays! wooooooo hoooooo! Thanks for the "tip" (pun intended) on Maui  Aloha

No problem.

Yeah, the manta dive is awesome too (off of Kona).

Have fun!
