Completing your Profile and seperately - keeping your Dive Info up to date helps in future diving discussions. You can use the Quick Links menu above for this, as it'll bring down a menu, where you can click [Edit Profile] for your location and such, and click [Edit Dive Info] to fill in your training level, number of dives logged, where you've dived, etc.
A PM, Personal Message, is like an email within the Scuba Board system. An easy way to PM me is to click my Username to the upper left, and it will give you a pull down menu, where you can click [Send a private message to DandyDon], where you can add a subject, a message, and send. You have the capacity to hold 250 sent & received messages, so be sure to erase any you don't need from time to time. I have a bigger box, but I erase some every day.
And if you click either [Home] or [Scubaboad.com] above, it'll take you to the list of forums on a larger number of subject. PM me if I can help you learn your way around.
Oh yes, if you click the [Reply] button outside of the message box, this will allow you to post on a Thread without quoting the message, if you'd like. Moving the mouse to a button but not clicking often tells you what it does.
