My first diving experience was around Glover's Atoll off Belize last summer. Next opportunity will be the Bay Islands summer of '05. I'll have 2-3 weeks on the mainland, then a week on Utila and a week+ on Roatan; advice gladly received. I'm especially interested in these things:

recommended lodging and dive shops on Utila

info on Paya Resort and Sandy Bay area lodging on Roatan

favorite dive sites both islands

PLACES YOU CAN FLY FISH WITHOUT A GUIDE, BOTH ISLANDS

I have a friend who used the Utila Lodge on a recent visit and really enjoyed the trip.
I may very well use them this year on my trip.
