I've been to Borden many times on course and exercises. I am an Air Force Reserve Officer, (CIC), and have been involved in the movement in one way or another for the past twenty years. Borden was my support base. I took part in a ScubaThon at the pool in Borden a few years ago. Winner was the diver with most bottom time in twenty four hours. It was in support of a womens hostel in Alliston. I was fortunate to win that one with eighteen hours twelve minutes bottom time from seven o'clock Saturday morning till seven o'clock Sunday morning. Mucho munchies and rack time after that one.
