New diver here. Finished my online material, off to FL mid Feb to complete the rest. Super excited but also a bit nervous.
I live in the Asheville area, have for a long time. Grew up on the coast, surfed a lot, came to the mountains and never went back. I miss the coast but do love the beauty of the mountains. Surfed a lot when I was younger, now I go out a few times per year when my schedule allows it.
Always wanted to dive since we never missed an Cousteau episode as a kid. We were glued to the TV.
