Welcome aboard.
I was lucky enought to start diving at 15 yrs old but hit one major snag....MONEY. Now that I am older I can afford to really get into it. So, don't feel bad about a late start.:mean:
 
We're another set of old farts who started late. We just got our OW cert 2 weeks ago. I am 47 and my wife is 46. It's never too late to learn something new. And it is great having a live-in diving buddy.
