Just a quick Hello from an "Old" diver new to the forum in the Phoenix, Arizona area! Any advice with diving La Jolla Cove out of the San Diego area? I have visited La Jolla many times and plan to take the plunge to the kelp fields next Friday (6/22/12). I have typically been a "warm" water diver for over 30 years and am a little apprehensive about the colder Pacific waters and the affect it will have on the overall dive. I am also looking for advice on what to look for in purchasing pre-owned (used) regulator of decent quality for diving the California waters, ie: stages, brand age of unit to stay away from, etc. I will post in other appropriate area too.
