I am new to the boards. A long time cave diver friend mentioned about some of the boards that were online so I checked out a few of them.

I have been diving for about 25 years, the last few have been a bit on the lean side due to other things and the cost of boat trips has gotten to be rather high. I bought a boat a couple of years ago and I am retrofitting it for diving this year.

I am in the process of upgrading some of our gear and putting things in order for a safe dive season. I am looking for a new tank, preferable a LP-95 PST galvanized, because I had to turn my old 72cf into a lamp. Hydro would accept it because of the lining in the tank.

I do mostly reef and wreck diving here. Depths range from 45 to 100 ft. and are usually drift dives because of the gulf stream being basically on-shore during the summer.

Thanks for the invite

Regards,
Gregg

Welcome to SB neighbour. Plenty of trips going on in your part of the state - where exactly are you based? Sounds like most is out of WPB and Broward.

Hi Gregg and welcome to SB. Plenty of lucky divers here on the board from Florida as you'll soon find out, there everywhere. It's scary. ;)
