Hello! 10 of us (extended family and friends) learned to dive last summer in BVI, 4 more of us will be taking OW dives this summer in St John, and 1 will be completing OW dives in Alabama. We had the best time of our lives, and are anticipating future vacation diving experiences in the Caribbean. We're looking at ABCs, Caymans, and Bahamas, and are happy to hear your suggestions.

This is a great board that we've already been reading, and we are now happy to be officially "on board." Here's a link to some of our dives in the BVI:

Cheers, alashas

Welcome to the board!

don

BTW: It would really help if you'd fill out your Profile - so we can respect your training and experiences, or be courteous if you're a greenhorn?!

Thanks for the note DandyDon, I just updated my profile - what little there is to it - have only done 6 dives so far. Looking forward to 8 dives in USVI in June, and possibly a week of shore dives in Bonaire in early Sept.

By the way, I'm familiar with your neck of the woods. I moved from Ohio to Portales, NM in 1973, and graduated from ENMU in '76, after transferring from Ohio State. I took my son and nephew on New Year trip, 2004, to ABQ, S F, Taos, and could not believe the drought you've been in, especially when viewed from the air. We had record rain in central VA last yr. I pray that things improve for the Southwest this year. Blessings to you...
