I have never been to Minnesota, but it is the "state of 1,000 lakes" I believe, must be some good freshwater diving..


Actually it's the "Land of 10,000 Lakes" + a few additional ponds which in many other states are called lakes ;) From various discussions with friends, I finding that there does seem to be some excellent diving in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

I look forward to diving in the Great Lakes possibly next summer. Should be fun and just a little chilly! :11:

No, der, for dem Norvegians and Skandihovians... Ya, ya betcha, we have zem here in Minnesotah. It touk zum doin, but I gotz da lingo down zer gut.... Specially zince I attended college in Mooooorhead, MN / Fargooo, ND area.

But in all truth, I'm nearly 100% German with a pinch of British thrown in for good measure.

Keep up the ribb'n guys... I'll dish it out.

Good Luck with your OW! MN/WI Water's are definitely on the chilly side this year but dive-able or should I say tolerable in a wetsuit :D
