Hi All, just dropped in to say hello... I am a 36yr old SSI Divemaster. I am crazy about diving and underwater photography and looking to visit all the best (and not so best) dive sites of the world... Give me a patch of water and I will want to know whats under it... Anyone from Asia here? Looking for dive buddies for an upcoming trip to the Philippines...

Hello and welcome. I just got certified less then a month ago in Malaysia. Stopped by HK on my way back to Los Angeles. I’m hook on scuba too.

Howdy!

Welcome to SB!!
:happywave Put us in your computer's favorites and check in often. This is a great place to learn, compare, argue :argue:

BTW: It would really help if you'd fill out your Profile - so we can respect your training and experiences, or be courteous if you're a greenhorn?!

:D

Wolverine, welcome. I've been to Hong Kong a couple of times and loved the city. Fantastic harbor! I never dove there is it divable? Let us know where the locals dive! :eyebrow:

Welcome to the board. How is the local diving in HK? Know a bunch of guys headed through that way soon.

If you want some great diving come see us over in Okinawa!

HK Harbour is definitely NOT diveable (too many boats/ships and pollution) but there are lots of islands around where the water is safer. Vis is not great so most HK divers got to Philippines to dive.
