Welcome from another "middle aged, married 25+, overweight, grey, kinda guy."

I posted a message on the rec.scuba board a while
ago about getting back in the water after 20 years
and that I was grey, fat and over 40... found out
that was the profile for most of the folks there...<vbg> It seems that you don't have to be
the young, fit kid I was when I took the NAUI
course 25 years ago. I'll be taking an SSI refresher and an open water cert, starting in a couple weeks.

Is the ice off the lakes in Idaho yet?

Well.... the ice was gone! It has been snowing more or less steady for the past 3 days! This is good because we are having a bit of a drought and there wasn't enough snow pack to fill the lakes. This should help though. I suspect that it will be June before the sediment from the runoff settles down enough to dive the lakes. This is my first year diving and I am getting rather anxious to try a few. I am looking forward to finding a few wayward snowmobiles. There should be several at the bottom of these lakes! :jester: (Just kidding although riding your snowmobile across a small lake or pond is currently the rage.)
