California Diver is a new full-color, glossy magazine focused on diving California! Our first issue will be mailed to subscribers in September.

Our magazine will feature a wide range of topics of interest to the California Diving community, including feature articles on dive sites, charter boats, underwater photography and video, freediving, instruction and education, health & fitness for diving, profiles of interesting and influential people in the industry, and much more. We're very excited to be launching our new magazine and promoting diving here in California.

You'll find more information on our website at www.californiadiver.com, and feel free to drop me a message if I can provide you with any further information. And whether you're a California diver or not, we'd love to have you as a subscriber!

Thanks!

Are you reestablishing the old California Diver Magazine published in Huntington Beach SoCal by John Brumm from May June 1985 to September October 1987?

If reestablishing the old California Diver Magazine congratulations

If a new magazine -- Using the name California Diver could possibly lead to complications from the proprietor of the name...

Either way a big congratulations and wishing you success in this publication!

Hey guys, nice to learn about you.

Some time back I sent an e-mail via your website. Never heard back... I think you were being swamped with inquiries at the time.

Interested in writing for you, but I'd also like to know how you will differentiate yourselves from the Scheckler's California Diving News (one of my favs).

Hi Bill - Sorry I missed your email. Please PM me, or send me an email at chris@californiadiver.com. Thanks.

Our first issue is a great success! Nearly 70 full-color pages of California diving, including abalone diving the North coast, freshwater dives in Lake Tahoe on the new charter boat - the "Scuba Mood", a great article from Harry 'Doc' Wong and Brianna Politzer Stevens on diving in the Monterey area, blue water diving, and much more!

We still have copies available for those who would like one, and of course you can always subscribe by visiting out website at California Diver Magazine - Dedicated to scuba diving and skin diving in California. Subscribe today!.

Thanks again to everybody - it's been great meeting everyone here at ScubaBoard and all the businesses who support diving here in California.

I just picked up a copy in my LDS. Great magazine!!
It really is a full blown mag and not just a thin rag with the same regurgitated descriptions of the same old sites.
I also love the attention given to the North Coast. Just remember, there is more than just abalone diving up on the North Coast, we have some of the best walls and pinnacles in the entire state to explore on scuba.
So many magazines just focus on what is already popular. Hopefully you guys will focus some attention onto places off the beaten path.

Great work, I can't wait for the next issue!
