Greetings fellow Michigan divers

Hey, just joined (have welcome thread elsewhere) and want to say hello to other divers in the area.

I live in the Dexter/Chelsea area and am looking for other people to dive locally with.


I am really only able to dive weekends but might do an evening/night dive once in a great while during the week after work.

Hey Jim. I will keep my eyes open.

I won't be able to dive until March at the earliest probably. I just had eye surgery for a detached retina and have a ton of restrictions.

Should be up and running and ready to try my new drysuit in a few months

It's been at Gilboa Quarry the last few years. There's usually a vote involved to determine location and date.

We have a great group around here and you'll really enjoy getting together with us, especially at the Spring Meet and Greet. (Whatever happens at M & G stays at M & G) Take a look at the recipes thread for M & G and see what treats you're in for. I like diving during the week at Gilboa--if you ever get a day off, give me a shout. I live only an hour away.

Howdy Ho there neighbors!!!

I live in the Detroit area but will be sent to Chicago for work for a number of months, any good dive locations, charters, LDSs I should be checking out?!??!?!? Im a year round diver and hopin to make the Gilboa New Years dive, Got an Ice class in Jan. and a charity pool dive tonight, but I need more!!!!
