I am from that area, and lived in alderson for a while. I still visit often because I still have family in Lewisburg. Maybe we could get together and explore some places next time I am down.

Scawt, we met this past weekend at rawlings, how are things going?

Yrth, Yeah, I saw your post on your weekend at Rawlings. Glad you had a good time there. I will be at Millbrook in a few weeks diving with my side mount rig again. Hope to see you there.

The local WV diving is Mount Storm and Summersville Lake. Summersville has a dive shop.

Well

are you at the dive shop at summersville alot i plan to check it out the 6-7 this weekend ill be up to do my aow

Who are you certifying through? We use a dive shop in Lewisburg who do most of their check out dives at Summersville. Sarge's Dive Shop is at Summersville and we've only used them for tank fills so I don't know much about them. Butyes...we go to Summersville fairly frequently during the summer. We typically go to the area they call the winter boat ramp.

There are more places in WV to dive than just Summersville and Mt Storm, but both of those places are excellent.
There is a cave in the greenbrier river between Ronceverte and Alderson, one of these days I am going to take my Kayak down there and find it. Also, there is also a section of the river that is support to be 80+ ft deep.
We also find various privately owned quarries to dive, but most of them donÃÕ pan out to be good places to return too.
I am up for diving where ever. Let me know of any spots I should check out.

Later,
Scott
