Rodney,

Where does Greenbo's water supply come from (spring, rain)? It isn't man made right?

What's the cost of the treasure hunt? Will we be able to dive the area all day long? Anyone going that wants to buddy up for 5-6 dives over the weekend?

thanks

Jerrod

Greenbo is creek fed, but unless it has rained heavy, the flow of them is low. The viz when I did an inspection, just a couple days ago, was 20'.

The cost is $60 for treasure hunters, $30 for non divers and non hunt divers. Kids 10 and under are free. The cost is for dive, gift bag, and buffet lunch.

I don't know if they will let divers return to the water after lunch. I'll ask about it and let you know.

[h=6]The Greenbo Lake underwater treasure hunt will be October 6th. Divers are $60 and the price includes dive, T-shirt, prizes, and buffet lunch. Non divers are free but must pay for lunch if they eat.

Registration opens Monday 9/17. To register call the Greenbo Lake State Resort Park (Jessie Stuart) Lodge at (606) 473-7324 or (800) 325-0083.

This is s new dive location, and needs all the divers we can get to keep it open.

Conditions, in this lake, are great for diving. Viz 20' + with little to no current.[/h]
