I will be headed out to Ocean Shores Oct 22-24 and thought I may try to pop up to Seattle & get a dive or two in on the 25th. Any suggestions?

I looked at the tide tables and tge tidal exchange looks a little extreme. Would Alkai be a good choice under these conditions?

Thanks

Steve

If you're heading up from Ocean Shores, Hood Canal would be a better choice ... it's a lot less travel time ...

Given the route I will be taking home prety much anything along I-5 as far north as I-90 is "on the way home".

The Hoodsport dive looks inviting but is far enough off of my planned route that I may have to drive my own rig. If I find a dive that is along my normal route home I don't have to pay for fuel.

When I leave Ocean Shores on Friday afternoon I would like to drive up to Seattle and spend the night then get a dive or two in Saturday before I complete my drive home to Dayton.
Are there and hotels/motels at Alki?
Anyone diving Alki Saturday that would welcome another diver?

Thanks

Steve

There aren't any hotels right at Alki, but downtown Seattle is only about ten minutes away.

I'm going to be at DEMA, but you might try (if you haven't already) posting on the nwdiveclub site. There's ALWAYS somebody there diving.

Thanks Lynne,

I am a bit jealous....If I didn't have to attend the conference in Ocean Shores I would be headed to DEMA as well. Maybe next year....

I will give the other board a shot.

Thanks again.

Steve

No luck on the other board.
