Finally I found time to post short review and a short movie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGW9b5AwGYI of our trip on S/Y Truk Siren 16-23/01/2015. May be someone saw my post for a last minute canellation, unfortunalety we could not sell this place.

I organized several dive trips / full charters to / Soccoro, Raja Ampat, Palau, Komodo, Maldives, Red Sea – Sudan&Egypt and I can say that Truk worth the money!

I and the people of the group are not ``wreck addicted``. We choose this destination, just because it`s different from our usual reef dives.

Truck Siren is very comfortable boat with spacious cabins and dive deck. Very well organized place to eat, which creates a friendly atmosphere. The entire staff is very friendly. Local dive guides - Kitachi and the other one of which unfortunately I forgot the name now, know the wrecks very well inside and outside, as well. Martin - the man who lead the briefings / he worked for SS ``Thorfinn`` before / is very interested in history and wrecks. The dive briefings were thorough and informative. He is also hyperbaric chamber specialist of the island, which is an additional plus.

Every day we did 4 dives, all were decompression. All were well organized. We were divided into 4 groups, most were saidmount divers.
I would say Truk Lagoon as really interesting dive destination and diving aboard the ``Truk Siren`` is higly recommended.

From the shore you can make perhaps 2 dives per day and the boats we saw were quite old. Compared with the number of dives and comfort of diving on liveaboard I think it`s the best choice.
We combined Truk & Palau – liveaboard trips, both. On Palau we choose Agressor boat / ``Palau Dancer`` / and I can say that from Truk Lagoon and ``Truk Siren``we are far impressed.

We hope that our next trip at a different destination will be on another Siren liveaboard.

p.s Excuse me, please if there are any grammar errors in my post, but I`m not native english speaker and I still have to upgrade it:)

Great video. Do you think Truk is worthwhile for divers who stay above 130' and no deco? I have been on the sister Palua Siren. It was excellent.

Scubagolf you have to stay less time at this depth and then it would be possible, but you will not have chance to explore inside the wreck enough.
I think it's difficult to do no deco dives at Truk.
I can send you log book of our dives /PM or I can post here/ to see the usual average depth of wrecks.

There is much to see at 130fsw and shallower. Though some deco training would be a plus, for sure. I was on Siren two weeks ago and was the only passenger diving doubles and doing deco... but everyone else seemed to have great dives as well.

Hi Tsvetan!
Thank you very much for sharing your experience on board the Truk Siren! :) Great video!
I am looking forward to seeing the one you will do after your trip on board the Galapagos Master! :)
Cheers.
