Hello! First off, this is one of the best forums that I have seen for any interests. I have used the posts a lot in the last two months to help me repurchase gear for getting back into diving. I got started diving in 96’ and feel in love with the sport. Sadly I had a small stroke in 03’ that caused a form of epilepsy and I thought my diving days were done. Fast forward to the present, I have not had a seizure in years and my doctor gave me the go ahead to get back into the water. My 14 year old daughter, 23 year old sister and I (nice refresher!) completed our open water course two weeks ago we have made 10 amazing dive since then in Catalina and some beach dives in La Jolla. It is so great to just be back doing something I love, but to see my daughters face as she experiences all there is to see while scuba diving is absolutely priceless. Anyway, thank you for such an amazing site!

Welcome, SB is a great resource

Congrat's on getting back in the water, but even more than that ... congrat's on the daughter diving with you to share the moments. That you have come back from such a serious health issue shows inner strength.

Dive safe, dive often, and enjoy!!
