Great picture of a Lionfish

[Lobstah Slayah]

We were diving off Scubatyme out of Pompano Beach. I spotted this fish on Anglin Reef and pointed him out to my buddy with a speargun. He got it on the first shot. I carefully took it off the spear. We caught a few lobster, shot 2 hogfish and saw a pod of dolphins in about 60 feet of water. A great day! The reason this picture of the Lionfish is so great is because it's on the end of a spear!

When I pointed it out to my buddy, he just nodded. I had to make a shooting motion. He thought that I was just pointing to a pretty fish. To his credit, he nailed it.
