I'd planned dive The Great Escape on 6/13 & 6/14. The trip on the 13th was scheduled to go to Fansworth Banks, but was cancelled because only four people had signed up! The trip on the 14th was to Catalina. There were only seventeen divers on board. The diving was AWESOME! Crew on Great Escape were very professional as always!

Thanks! We dove the Rock Quarry and Bird Rock. I would LOVED to have gone to Farnsworth Banks.

I would have loved to go to Farnsworth too, weather willing.

I love Bird Rock, except for the side that's so full of kelps that you could barely swim three feet before all tangled up to heck.

Robin,

I've just started back up with digital stills. I've got a lot to learn, but I'm enjoying it.

My wife and I are going to Cay Sal Bank on The Nekton on July 11th...we can't wait!

I was just looking up stuff to do on the River Walk in Ft. Lauderdale. We land at noon, and the Nekton picks us up at 7:00. I'm guessing will end up with four or five hours to kill. The Discovery Museum looks like it might be fun...we can even catch an IMAX. A Cuban or Cajun restaurant will be nice for dinner.

Any suggetsions?

there are a few restaurants there and a few shops but nothing much of note. I haven't done the museum or Imax as our plane usually gets in around 5pm so we barely have time to eat.

Have fun on the trip! :D
