We have two dive trips targeting Farnsworth Banks in April on the Great Escape.
Farnsworth is a spectacular deep reef on the seaward west side of Catalina and is the home to the rare cold water Purple Coral. If youve never dove Farnsworth you are missing out on one of the best dives in the California. Its the top of an under seamount, the top of it is fairly large area and in the 100+ depth range. Theres one spot that gets a little shallower, but there is lots of area deeper and some sheer walls but figure youll be diving 100 plus or minus. The place is teeming with life and generally has great vis.. and is covered with the rare cold water Purple coral. Well make our first dive the deep dive at Farnsworth, then make 2-3 shallower dives around the backside of Catalina or elsewhere. So if youre not feeling comfortable with that Farnsworth deep dive come out anyways and make the later shallower dives.

A two day trip on Saturday and Sunday April 10th and 11th with Adventure Plus. Give them a call at 435-674-0082 for info or call the boat direct.
All trips on the GE are all inclusive. The price includes multiple dives, 3000 psi air fills, breakfast, snacks (our world famous Monkey Bread), lunch, and all non alcoholic drinks. (dinner also provided overnight on the 2 day trip as well). Prior to departure feel free to bunk overnight on the boat if that is convenient and parking is free.
The Great Escape is the largest boat in the LA / Long Beach harbor basin at 85' long. We offer a very stable ride and a crew that is made up of experienced divers. The boat has wide private bunks, six staterooms, a full sit down galley and grill, 2 heads, 4 hot fresh water showers, a dedicated camera assembly station, fresh water camera rinse tanks, live game wells, and more.
