  • Tenneco Towers was created in 1985 when Tenneco Oil Company sank 5 large sections of decommissioned oil platforms. Three platforms are within the recreational diving limits. The smallest sets in 97 feet and rises to 65 feet. The two larger platforms rest in 110 feet and rise to 60 feet. The two deep water sections lie in 190 feet of water and rise to around 80 feet, both of which list at a 45-degree angle due to Hurricane Andrew in 1992.
  • Sea life is abundant with the flow of tides and currents moving freely through the wreckage which is covered in soft corals.
