So I took your advice and took a guided dive at the Breakwater on friday so I don't do my first cold water dive on my own..

And it was coooollllddd, wow my fingers nearly fell off :), vis was no more than 6 feet but I had lots of fun.

On monday I went diving at Point lobos with Ian Susan and Haward, vis was excellent (or so I am told), maybe 10 meters (30 feet), and it was such a great dive, I loved it the Kelps the nudibranches the crabs great dive and great buddies!

Ian thanks alot for a great day! I don't know if Susan and Haward are reading this forum but please thank them too on my behalf, I didn't have much time to thank them myself :)
Hope we can do it again sometime :)

I got some real good pictures, but I have no idea how to post them here .. anyone?

Well thanks for the warm people cold water welcome to Monterey :)

Hi there! Glad to hear that you had some good dives!

As for the photos, there are 2 different ways.

(1) You can "Go Advanced" and "Manage Attachments" - attach and then you will have small images of them which people can open.

(2) If you post them in your photo album on here, you can use the BB code (see the image below) link to attach them inside the text of your posting, and they will show up as full images in your post.

Hope that helps! Buzz me if you have any questions.

Your photos are GREAT! I like the 3rd one - the kelp and the fish and then the snails on kelp the best. Well, then the Clown nudi and .......... ah, they're all great! Welcome to cold water diving!! We've got some great life!

It was great to introduce Harari to our nice cold Monterey waters. Lobos on Presidents Day was excellent, as the pictures indicate. Unfortunately, my dry suit sprang a leak (also on Sunday on the Cypress Sea) so I was not having as much fun as Harari (I think).

The Hermissenda is so beautiful!

Wow...these are great pictures. I will be coming to Monterey for my first Nor Cal diving experience in a few weeks. I am inspired by your pictures. Can't wait!!
