We had a great crew at the lake today. The not-so-new guy donbon got there about the same time Beast and I did, with his bright shiny new computer. It sure is purdy! :eek:ut: Then Cudabait wandered in hunting divers just as Swamp Thing and Fletch got out of the truck. They had a new found friend Laura meet up with them. She's not a Swamper yet but anyone who can survive a weekend at the Flower Gardens with the two of them deserves to be!

We're going back tomorrow to catch up on some of the diving we've missed the last couple months. Viz was OK. At least it was until an instructor stood his two students in the mud alongside the dock to do their BC doff and don! They trashed the viz for 50 yards of shoreline! The first thermocline is at 26ft with temps above it at 88º. Air temps were very nice today with a little north breeze...Fall is on the way!!!

Will definitely be out Sunday around 11 or so. Temps will start dropping soon. Full tanks of air sitting in garage and watching TV just doesnt cut it.

Hey Dee... Tell 'em about the temperature and visibility under the second thermoclime... It was difficult to see the bottom if it was further than my arm could reach even with a light... When I looked up, I couldn't even see the glow of the light from the surface... Damn, it's dark down there...
