Great conditions Wednesday in Carmel

Hi all-
FYI- Dove a few spots in Carmel Wednesday. At Butterfly House I was at 80' and could see the surface. Best day this year.

Urgh... you're making me second guess myself... my husband is stuck driving our truck solo and I'm home in Ohio... granted I'm doing some work that won't happen nearly as fast in the truck and I'm planning a trip for myself to Hawaii to visit family.

He will probably be stuck at the Pebble Beach event in Monterrey- if you're in the Carmel area, you know what I'm talking about! We haul cars and we were out there last year- I paid a guy for a guided tour and I got soaked on it, both literally and fiscally!

I am considering buying a last minute plane ticket both to see my husband (who came through here a few weeks back) and to go diving in Monterrey Bay again...

Would you be around during the "event"? I believe it's next weekend...

I just did two dives today (8/12) in the Carmel area. Conditions are STELLAR. Vis was 60-80 feet and CLEAR. Temp was 53 degrees.

Sniff, sniff... hubby will be out there and I'll be in Ohio- I can't really fly out there kiss him on the cheek and say "see you later, I gotta go diving..." that would be wrong!
