Just bought a new aqua lung titan Reg. havent got a computer yet havent even used the reg. I am wondering if I should take the reg. back and get a apex and get a sunnoto geckko computer. Or keep the Titan and get the sunnoto Cobra Computer. I dont have the MOney to get both so I am wondering which one I should get. I am not real sure how the Titan will do with water thats in the 60's and maybe mid 50's any opinions on that?? thank you

I LOVE SCUBABOARD.COM

Great regulator.

I know two people that have a cobra and don't like it. I know plenty of people with the Titan that, after trying an apex or a legend, don't like it. ;)

A cobra doesn't really offer an advantages over a gekko. Just air integration and ability to hook it up to your computer to download your dives. It's nothing added you really need.

Breathing nice and smoothly at depth on the other hand... is something you need, or will at least appreciate.

get the best reg can and use a good bottom timer. The best dive computer around is attached to your neck....

I happen to like my computer, but there's no contest between which one I'd choose.

My "backup regulator" is another Atomic Aquatics. My "backup computer" is a pressure gauge.

Also, the computer will be worthless in 10 years, while the reg will perform like new as long as you can still get parts for it.

Get the regulator you want first. When you can afford the computer you want get that. Meanwhile dive conventional instruments.

ok well the bad thing is will most dive shops take returns on unused equipment and if I already filled out the warranty card?? If not how much could I probably sell a brand new titan for??

You should be able to return it for store credit, if you want. On the other hand, a good reg is your best friend underwater. My computer helps to keep me on track, my reg helps keep me alive.

I would think if I returned a unused 300.00 reg for a 550.00 dollar reg they would take it lol
