JUPITER ISLAND — In celebration of the 2010 International Year of Biodiversity and during peak Sea Turtle nesting season, EarthRehab, the Jupiter Middle School “Treehuggers”, and Jupiter/Tequesta Junior Women’s Club invite you to join us at Coral Cove Park, Jupiter Island for an amazing event on April 17.

Guest Speaker: Larry Wood of the Palm Beach Zoo, former director at Loggerhead Marine Life Center and a Hawksbill Sea Turtle expert.

Our goal is to remove debris/plastics from the sargassum seaweed for the health of the next generation of Sea Turtles. We will also separate the recyclable plastics and have them recycled. Global open ocean plastics will be recycled in Palm Beach County and the next generation of Sea Turtles will have a clean habitat for their juvenile stage of life.
