Have seen this many times but can't match it in my Reef ID Books. Suspect it's a juvenile. This pic is from May 2009 in Little Cayman. Probably 25-30ft. Fish is prob. 10-14 inches long. Swims above coral, ducking in if approached. Thanks!!

It's a Spanish Hogfish, in the wrasse family. The "grey" part is really a purple color -- magenta or violet or blue depending on the individual, light intensity, and depth. Grows fairly large, up to 2' they say, but I've never seen one quite that big. The juveniles are cleaners and you'll often see them at cleaning stations.
