Depending on your number of days there, you may be able to get them all in. They are all great shore dives, Turtle Farm being my favorite :-)

I kinda thought the same reference Eden Rock, I am looking into the Cruise Ship, schedules now in an attempt to avoid that traffic....we will be doing Double morning dives each day with Divetech...so our shore dives will need to be afternoon dives.

Light House Reef and Cobalt Coast we have done and I am sure we will do them again this trip.

Sounds like Sunset house and Turtle Reef for sure. If we can avoid Cruise ship Traffic we will try Eden Rock. Im still trying to picture where Turtle Reef is at, I am familiar with the turtle farm and crack conch? Is Sundivers located at Turtle Reef??......and is that where the entry point is then?

To add to the mix. I went for a shore dive today at Cobalt Coast. One of the best shore dives ever. We went all the way to the wall, saw 3 turtles and a moray. Visibility was amazing

Cheers

Yes,Sundivers is at the Cracked Conch. The site is commonly called "Turtle Farm" although that may not be so accurate since the farm moved.

If you are boat diving with Divetech their shore diving sites have the advantage of free tanks ;)

Have you been to the deep wall at Lighthouse Point? Its excellent. HUGE barrel sponges

Important note for Turtle Farm shore dive ... forgot to mention it.

Was supposed to dive there Sunday (19th Sept) and it was closed for renovations. The bar, dive operations, etc were all closed. There was no date mentioned on the sign. In any case, if you take a chance and go there anyway, Lighthouse point is about 1km away and Cobalt Coast +-2km away.

Anyone here know when they are supposed to re-open?

M.

From the Cracked Conch website:

We are closed for Off-Season from the 30th of August - 7th of October

Seems odd that it includes Sundivers though.

Have an update: the dive ops are at Lighthouse point for now. The renovations were supposed to be done by now, but apparently all the rain we have had recently has caused this to take longer than expected.
