Thanks for the info guys and gals. Pretty busy working late every day and could not respond right away. I'll check out the web sites suggested and give them a call. I don't think I will try the scooter thing. Don't want to do solo diving. Hopefully, I'll be able to find a good dive buddy on the cruise ship after diving at Cozumel before going to Grand Cayman.

is it CCR or SCR? They told me SCR, that they didn't do CCR for the "experience." (We tried to do this last time we were there but they screwed up the scheduling on us. Maybe next time.)

The rebreather experience was on a Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR). Nat said that Divetech has sold all their Drager's (SCR). I would also pre-book the experience because they would only take 2 CCR resorts/day, plus it took the whole afternoon. Divetech had 6 different CCR to chose from the KISS classic, KISS sport, Meg, Evolution, Inspration and the new DiveRite unit (think it was called a Optima).

yeah we prebooked pretty far ahead, but when the time came they were like oh, the instructor is away for a few days.
