Hurrah, we will be leaving in three days for the Cobal Coast Resort and
will be diving EVERYDAY for 1 week with Divetech !!!!
Anything we need to know or things we should see or do while diving and after diving ???

You're gonna have a great time. Here's a few suggestions --

1) while diving: when you check in at the shop the first day, tell them that you're preference is to dive north. Sometimes they split the boats -- one north and one west. You may not get on the north boat everytime, but expressing a preference can help. And ask the dive masters about good stuff to look for -- they're great! Do a night dive at turtle reef.

2) after diving: spend time hanging by/in the pool and the bar, getting to know your fellow diver/guests. staying at CC is often sort of like staying at a land-based liveaboard. you see and dive with the same folks frequently.

3) chat up the dive staff. they are very friendly and like to talk diving and anything else with folks.

4) have a nice romantic dinner at Papagallo (not far) and/or at the Wharf (more towards 7 Mile Beach)

5) go into town and pick up some bread, juice, soda, etc. at the store. Most of the rooms at CC have good sized refrigerators and you can save some money and have some snackables close at hand. We buy some of our drinks at the bar, but we make some ourselves (we usually bring a bottle of rum -- way too expensive to buy a bottle on the island).

6) check out the turtle farm and do some shore diving at turtle reef.

7) I'd say go have drinks at sunset at the Cracked Conch (at turtle reef) but, alas, its closed :(. A big new facility is opening there -- sort an underwater theme park, I hear. Check it out and let us know what's up.

8) If you have a car (and I highly recommend renting one) spend an afternoon driving over to the East End to check it out.

9) Tell Ari and Dora that Seth and Diane say Hi and will be coming to visit soon!!

Here's my suggestion :

The East End has some of the islands best diving. On one day, give Ocean Frontiers (who are based at the east end) a call, book onto their morning two tank trip, have two nice dives, then continue driving around the island to Rum Point, where you can have a nice lunch, and some mudslides. You can then "retreat" to one of their hammocks to sleep it all off, before driving back to WestBay.

I'll be there on thursday. How is the diving?
