Hey gang. I am staying at Spanish Bay the week of May 20-27 and need to find a quality dive operation. I contacted Divetech after reading their reviews just to find out they are fully booked for the entire week!

Any other suggestions for an operation that would pick up from Spanish Bay (Georgetown) area?

First time to the Caymans - I can't wait!

I stayed at spanish bay years ago when it was a peter hughes operation I believe and the operator was on site, probably still has one there.Had ok shore diving too.

Spanish Bay is nowhere near Georgetown, it is located in West Bay, on the North shore, close to Pappagallo's restaurant. You will not find any dive operator that will pick you up from there due to the distances involved and the traffic problems in the mornings. I cannot recommend strongly enough that you rent a car for your stay there.
Resort Sports run the operation based at the resort but I'm not sure if they have daily boats running for the guests. They mostly deal with cruise-ship snorkellers and divers.
The dive companies that operate closest to Spanish Bay are Divetech and ourselves (Wall to Wall Diving) who leave from the West Bay dock whem we are diving the West side or the Cayman Islands Yacht Club when diving the North Wall (hopefully most of the time at the end of May!)
Unless you dive with Resort Sports you will need to have your own transport!
You should definitely make the most of the shore dives there which are great!
Have fun.
