Not really any shore diving I'm aware of right there. People were talking about heading back toward town for some shore dives, and there's a site marked on a map for shore diving up toward Rum Point.

We didn't give any a try on this trip, but I may be missing some options. Maybe a more frequent visitor to the area can chime in.

Think you'd be hooked on staying there, just for the convenience of walking out of your condo and onto the dive dock, with all your gear ready on the boat.

If you go there a lot, they're building a fractional-ownership place across the street too. We're not big on that, as we like to hit different places all the time, but that's certainly a nice location. We hadn't been back to Grand Cayman since our first dive trip 15 years ago, and the diving and vis were as good as I remembered.

Sounds like a sweet arrangement, and worthy of doing. The timeshare might be nice in the future for us. We would like to do a GCM trip and another island each year, so we could do the GCM at Compass Point and then go to wherever else we decide. It would get us our Cayman fix and still satisfy our wanderlust!
