I was planning to do Ten Mile today (there was a nice, long slack), but when I got there, the swells were reaching half-way up the slope to the parking lot (even though it wasn't windy). I've never had to cancel a dive there because of weather, but today I took one look and left. It looked like the open Pacific. I drove all the way along the coast back to Ogden Point, but it was pretty rough everywhere so I tried for Esquimalt. It was pretty calm here so I tried for the end of Grafton Road. Vis was only around 10 feet, but most of the kelp cover was gone in the shallows so I could see all the "surge zone" life. I still didn't see any giant green anemones, but fish-eating were all over the place. I added the photos from the dive to the page: http://victoriadiving.awardspace.com/graftonroad.html
The photos were all taken 6-20 feet deep. In my opinion, it's a great shallow dive.

Another fine dive report Mark, keep up the good work!
Oh, and Merry Christmas.

Thanks. Same to you. I hear you've been having great vis on the HMCS's. Maybe we could pipe some of that water down to Juan de Fuca.
You could always come up for a dive.
