Thanks all. This was just south of Pt. Lobos at a dive site off of Yankee point.

I am also glad that he was just curioius and did not eat anything, or any part of us. I learned after the fact that GPOs of this size have a rather large beak that could definitely do some damage

Great shot! I am heading to Alaska in a couple weeks and hope to get some good images of a GPO.
