Oh yeah, forgot about causing tinnitus for whales.
It also wouldn’t stick it to the oil companies enough to please the current do gooders, so no it would not be approved.
 
Haul it in, haul it out. All of these poor oil companies will spare no expense looking for profit, they need to clean up after themselves.

the only difference here is people can’t easily see the stuff left behind, it’s sort of like a hiker leaving trash in the forest because bears and ants like to lick the candy wrappers and food packs residue.
