I 'brushed' up before I went to vienna for business. I had the "Ein Beir - Bitte!" down in no time, However it fought my way through a couple crappy beers before I adjusted to "Ein dunkel bier bitte!".
In France, all I really figured out was "Another, Please", but that breezed me through the week just fine!.
Portugal... Hmm... I must have figured out beer ordering in portugal 'cause I don't really remember portugal all that much!
