Mini season for lobster is less than two weeks away. Do you have your license yet?
I just thought about this morning, and ordered mine on-line. It beats going to city hall or a fishing store.
They only charge you $1.95 for the on line service, and the confirmation page can serve as your temporary license until the slip of paper shows up in the mail which is mailed with 48 hours.
There's a bunch of options on the type of licenses you can get, but at minimum you'll need a saltwater fishing license ($13.50 for residents) with the crawfish/lobster permit ($2.00). With the online processing fee, total comes to $17.45 on your credit card. The license is good for the year.
Go here for your license.
