Whatever ya do, break anything, damage whatever but don't screw with your feet!
Yeah, been there in the 80s. Had a bunion repair on one, then a hammertoe fixed the next month. We do greatly depend on our feet. I was young then and heeled pretty fast.
My wife is highly allergic to bug bites and those Roatan no-see-ums are not held at bay with even the strongest bug spray so I've been told. Who needs that?
It varies with which resort or other property I think, and how well they spray their grounds. I did several trips to Fantasy Island with minimum problems, then a trip to a sandbar on Utila where they ate me up.
I was there in July. No sand bug problems.
Turquoise Bay was no problem for me with no-see-ums, but they need to get rid of that horse stable. They couldn't keep the flies out of the buffet area.
