I am a cold life person ,meaning get cold real easy
as I live in the north buying 2 wet suits did not make sence to me ,as it turned out the 7mill was the way to go ,felt nice and toasty to me

depth was 62 feet first dive , in log mode my comp said 67 feet max depth

That dive to 62 or 67 feet is a PADI standards violation. Your instructor was supposed to take you to a maximum depth of 40 feet on your first dive.
